Course overview:
This course is about the treatment of children and their relationship to Health, treating a child as a Whole, whilst applying osteopathic principles of treatment and differential diagnosis.
The embryological forces which formed the embryo become the sustaining and restorative forces in a child and a reference to Health and Wholeness.
The role of the autonomic nervous system in health and disease will be explored.
Evaluation of metabolic trophicity will enable the practitioner to assess the child’s ability to recover their nutritional and metabolic capacity following the stress of sympathetic overload.
The quality of communication and the relationship between Primary and Thoracic Respiration will be evaluated as a clinical and treatment modality in respiratory conditions.
Eligibility: Osteopaths with prior training in treatment of children I or by permission of the course instructors.
CPD:20 category 1A CPD points approved by the Australian Osteopathic Association

Transfers can be booked from the airport to the catamaran (Urangan boat harbour) with the Kingfisher Bay Resort.
There are 4 ferries crossing each day (45 minute trip). Generally it is better to arrive the night before the course starts.
