Course overview:
This is a basic introduction to the treatment of children.
It is the most basic level and the most difficult.
We are going to learn how to communicate with a Child.
Find the sacred meeting place where they exist and perceive the world.
There is no science that deals with the perception of children.
Treatment of children is not about cranial bones, it is about Primary Respiration.
The forces of healing in a child are not musculoskeletal.
Children can’t be treated successfully in pieces; they need to be treated as a Whole.
Paediatrics is about the study of childhood diseases; this course is about the treatment of children and their relationship to Health.

By the end of the course, the osteopath will:
• Acquire an understanding of how to communicate with a Child.
• Develop the skill to evaluate and rebalance the newborn’s fluid body;
• Diagnose the quality of Fluid Drive and its capacity for unfolding, thus assessing the prognosis of future growth and development.  
• Be able to treat ‘Morning Sickness’ by synchronizing with Thoracic Respiration,
• Perceive a perceptual shift and a new relationship felt with the Child/ Health and the Embryo.


Eligibility: Osteopaths with an interest in Osteopathy in the Cranial Field.

CPD: 20 category 1B CPD point with the Australian Osteopathic Association
