A WEEKEND OF EMBRYOLOGY presentations from an embryologist, anatomist and clinically orientated former associate professor.

Dr Brian Freeman is the editor and translator of Erich Blechschmidt’s last published book, The Ontogenetic Basis of Human Anatomy, The Biodynamic Approach to Development from Conception to Adulthood.
Retired from the University of New South Wales in 2009
Dr Freeman taught all aspects of anatomy (macroscopic, microscopic, and developmental) to students in many different programs: medicine, science, ultrasound, biomedical engineering, etc.) from 1974 to 2008.
Dr Freeman was Director of Teaching in the School of Medical Sciences from 2001 to 2006 and is now a senior Visiting Fellow in the School of Medical Sciences , U.N.S.W.
Dr Freeman will give 2 days of presentations on Dr Blechschmidt’s work, the Biodynamic principles explored by Dr Blechschmidt, and aspects of regional development of the embryo under the biodynamic influence of local metabolic fluid fields within the whole.
