BioBasics courses are designed to give an introduction to students and osteopaths about the biodynamic principles. These BioBasics courses contribute to the eligibility criteria for Biodynamics Phase I-VIII

DEVELOPING A SENSORY EXPERIENCE OF THE LAWS OF NATURE AT WORK.

The functional model is a doorway into learning how to work with the Biodynamic forces of Embryogenesis that have become the forces of Healing.

 

This two day module is designed to provide a functionally orientated introduction to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) and the Biodynamic Phase courses for Osteopaths. No previous experience with OCF is required.

This module covers:

 

- Begin to develop an understanding of the Biodynamic model.

 

- Appreciate the relationship of Biodynamics to other models of Osteopathy.

 

- Learn practical tools to aid the application of principles.

 

- Begin to develop the ability to sense the Biodynamic forces of healing in the  patient.

 

- Further develop your diagnostic skills

 

- Practice clinically effective treatments using Functional and Biodynamic principles

- Learn to manage and minimize the side effects of Osteopathic treatments.

- Establish a supportive study group for ongoing learning.

An Introduction to Biodynamic OCF:
This two day module is designed to provide a functionally orientated introduction to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF) and the Biodynamic Phase courses for Osteopaths. No previous experience with OCF is required.

This module covers:

 

 

An introduction to the Embryological and functional anatomy of the cranium - bones, membranes, and CNS development

 

An Introduction to inherent inter-osseous and intraosseous motion

 

Principles of treatment for using a functional approach to OCF

 

Techniques to minimize and manage treatment reactions.

 

The skills necessary to deepen your awareness of Primary Respiration and the Fluid Body

 

Clinically relevant diagnostic and treatment tools
