The purpose of this program is to observe the laws of Nature at work throughout the body.
Phase I will cover:
Dr Sutherland's approach to Osteopathy in the Cranial Field in the later years of his life, when he was working with Balanced Fluid Tension (BFT).
This course will also review
- Biomechanical and Functional methodology of Balanced Membranous Tension (B.M.T.)
- Explore Motion present.
- Biodynamic methodology of Patient's Neutral, natural boundaries,
- Synchronization with Primary Respiration,
- Sutherland perceptual odyssey,
- C.N.S embryological development and function,
- Natural Disengagement with B.M.T and B.F.T.,
- Fluid fulcrums, Intraosseous patterns of motion.
Phase II will cover:
-
The concept of the 'fluid body' through an in-depth perception of fluid dynamics and its clinical significance.
-
Appreciation of the therapeutic and diagnostic use of Balanced Fluid Tension (BFT) around the fulcrum incited by the tidal forces.
-
Observation of the Longitudinal Fluctuation will be used as a diagnostic tool. CV4-EV4 treatment and its clinical relevance will be demonstrated.
-
At the end of the course, the osteopath will acquire a methodology to develop a sensory experience of the spontaneous therapeutic process of Automatic Shifting, occurring after the neutral.
Phase III will cover:
-
The embryological dural development up to a full adult including the anterior dural girdle and its clinical significance.
-
Diagnosis and treatment of intra-membranous shearing will be appreciated with the Long Tide.
-
This course will also enhance perceptual skills to distinguish between periosteal dura, meningeal dura and CNS, by finding the presence of the Therapeutic Forces of the Long Tide in the lesion.
-
The principles of treatment and clinical significance of the peritoneal sac are discussed.
-
The clinical significance and principles of treatment of the neuro-immune-endocrine connection and CV3 - the Bird- will be explored.
-
Throughout the course, the skill of tempo, humility and synchronizing with the Health will be developed.
Phase IV will cover:
-
Perception
-
The transcendent self.
-
The midline as a therapeutic force
-
The reciprocal tension of the potency
-
Treatment of the pre and post-natal maternal pelvis
-
Ignition
Phase V will cover:
-
The embryological development of the head and upper neck.
-
The evaluation, diagnostic and treatment of the face and cranium
-
The upper, middle and lower face - anatomical, functional and biodynamic fluid fields and their importance in growth and development
- The principles of treatment in clinical cases such as entrapment neuropathies, migraines, infection, dental work and trauma.
- Perceptual studies
- The facial treatments and endpoints.
- Palatines and midfacial fluid fields
- Vomer and midline
- Craniometrix
- Treatment of the extremities with Sutherland's power points
-
Dr. Ruby Day's explanation of W.G. Sutherland's use of potency inside bones
Wholeness and Osteopathic Philosophy Four levels of Stillness and their therapeutic relevance Neutral in the Whole, a journey back to Cause Functional reserve and treatment of allostatic load from prolonged stress First breath and ignition Central Nervous system evaluation, internal disengagement and therapeutics Paranasal Sinuses' endothelium, as one unit of function and clinical relevance in treatment.
